How to Install Epson 220XL Black Ink Cartridge
- Turn on your Epson printer
- Open the front cover — the ink cartridge holder will move to the replacement position
- Press the tab on the old black cartridge to release it and lift it out
- Remove the new cartridge from packaging and peel off the yellow tape completely — do not touch the green chip or ink nozzles
- Slide the cartridge into the black slot at an angle and press down firmly until it clicks into place
- Close the front cover — the printer will initialize automatically
Important — cartridge not clicking in? Make sure you are pressing the cartridge in at the correct angle. Epson cartridges insert at a slight downward angle, not straight in. Apply firm, even pressure until you hear and feel the click. If the cartridge still does not fit, contact Lemero support — we will resolve it immediately.
