Tip: Check the label on your current cartridge to confirm it shows T802XL or 802XL before ordering. The 802XL is specific to the WF-4700 and EC-4000 series — it is not interchangeable with 786XL (WF-4630/4640 series) or 812XL (WF-7800 series).

| Black Page Yield | ~550 pages | ~2,600 pages |
| Color Page Yield | ~650 pages | ~1,900 pages |
| Compatible Printers | Same | Same |
| Best For | Very light use | Regular home or office use |

The 802XL delivers approximately 3–4× more pages than the standard 802. For any regular printing, the XL is dramatically better value.
About Printer Recognition
When installing compatible ink cartridges, your Epson printer may display a message stating the cartridge is not recognized or asking whether to proceed. This is a standard Epson notification — press OK or select "Proceed" to continue. As confirmed by multiple customers, the cartridges work correctly once the alert is dismissed. If a cartridge doesn't seat properly on the first try, remove it, reseat firmly, and try again.
How to Install Epson 802XL Ink Cartridges
- Turn on your Epson WorkForce Pro printer
- Open the ink cartridge access cover — the carriage will move to the replacement position
- Press the tab on the old cartridge and lift it out
- Remove the new cartridge from packaging and peel off all protective tape completely — including any tape over the ink nozzles
- Do not touch the chip or ink nozzle area
- Insert each cartridge into its color-coded slot and press firmly until it clicks
- Close the access cover
- If an "ink cartridge not recognized" message appears, press OK or Proceed — this is normal and does not affect print quality
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this pack include all four colors? Yes. This 4-pack contains one each of 802XL black (T802XL120), cyan (T802XL220), magenta (T802XL320), and yellow (T802XL420).
What is the difference between Epson 802 and 802XL? The 802XL yields significantly more pages — approximately 2,600 black and 1,900 color versus 550 and 650 for the standard 802. Both fit the same WorkForce Pro WF-4700 and EC-4000 series printers.
Is this the same as 786XL? No. The 802XL and 786XL are different cartridge series for different printers. The 786XL fits older WorkForce Pro models (WF-4630, WF-4640, WF-5110, etc.) while the 802XL fits the newer WF-4720/4730/4740 and EC-4000 series. Always check the label on your current cartridge before ordering.
My printer didn't recognize the cartridge at first. What should I do? Remove the cartridge, check that all protective tape has been removed completely, and reinsert firmly until it clicks. Multiple customers have confirmed this resolves the issue. If the problem persists, contact Lemero support — all cartridges are covered by our lifetime warranty.
Will using remanufactured cartridges void my Epson printer warranty? No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, Epson cannot void your printer warranty solely because you used a remanufactured or compatible ink cartridge.
How long can I store unused cartridges? Store sealed cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results, install within 18–24 months of purchase.
