    How to Install HP 61XL Ink Cartridges

    1. Turn on your HP printer and open the ink cartridge access door
    2. Wait for the carriage to move to the center position
    3. Press down on the old cartridge to release it and pull straight out
    4. Remove the new cartridge from packaging and peel off all orange protective tape completely — do not touch the copper contact strip or ink nozzles
    5. Insert the black cartridge into the right slot and the tri-color cartridge into the left slot
    6. Press firmly until each clicks into place
    7. Close the access door — the printer will run an alignment automatically

    "Remanufactured cartridge" message: If your printer displays a non-OEM ink alert, press OK or Continue. This is a one-time notification and does not affect print quality.
