How to Install HP 962XL Ink Cartridges

1. Turn on your HP OfficeJet Pro printer and open the ink cartridge access door

3. Press down on the old cartridge and pull it straight out
4. Remove the new cartridge from packaging and peel off all orange protective tape completely — including any tape over the ink nozzles
